Hobbies
Programming
Scott loves programming and codes on a regular basis. He gennerally has a few software projects running on the side in addition to schoolwork. His favorite language to work in is C#, unless it's a five minute project, in which case Python works nicely. However, he's worked in a wide variety of languages, such as: C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, PHP, TI-Basic, and Swift. You can see the some of his work in this section.
Martial arts
Scott began his martial arts journey by joining the California Fencing Academy, where he studied modern foil fencing. After two years, he switched to Tiger Martial Arts where he joined the Korean weapons program and earned his first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do over the course of five years. Seeking a more realistic sword fighting experience, he then moved to Davenriche European Martial Arts where he currently practices historical side sword fencing.
Gaming
When he's not working on a project or busy with schoolwork, Scott is often gaming. One of his favorite games to play is Pathfinder, a variant of the classic Dungeons and Dragons pen and paper game. He also enjoys playing indie games, ones that either illustrate a clever mechanic or that tell a engaging story, like the game Thomas was Alone. He has played Magic: The Gathering in the past, but prefers Legend of the Five Rings when it comes to card games.
